Sheltered between the cliffs of Cabo de Plata and Punta de Gracia, this peculiar beach is the delight of those that live there. The Camarinal lighthouse on the slope, the blue waters, the dunes covered with vegetation and the green of the surrounding mountains form a spectacular landscape for enjoyment and rest. It is accessed from the centre of Atlanterra, by the road that goes up to the mountain.
The Camarinal lighthouse takes its name from the presence of a plant in the area. The white crowberry (Corema album) a shrub with a white and edible fruit, which grows in the sandy areas of the coast, which was formerly picked and sold in nearby towns.
